The Thirteenth Judicial District Commission on Judicial Performance recommends that Judge Kevin L. Hoyer BE RETAINED.

Judge Hoyer was appointed to the Washington County Court bench in 1987. He is also in private practice and represents governmental organizations in other counties. Judge Hoyer serves as Municipal Court Judge for the cities of Wray and Yuma.

Judge Hoyer presides over traffic, misdemeanor and civil cases. Judge Hoyer is active in the community. He believes that the new court facilities in Washington County will help improve case management and court organization.

The survey results were positive for Judge Hoyer. Respondents rated him polite, respectful, consistent and fair. One hundred percent of attorneys and 86% of non-attorneys surveyed favored retention.
